There's a moment in great content where the product disappears and the feeling takes over. You're not looking at a drone anymore — you're looking at freedom. At precision. At the version of yourself that picks this thing up and goes somewhere worth going. That moment doesn't happen by accident. It's built — frame by frame, light source by light source, edit cut by edit cut. It's the result of asking the right questions before the camera ever turns on: Who is this person? What do they believe about themselves? What does this product give them permission to be? The DJI Neo project started with a single product and zero existing visual language. What it ended with was a cinematic world — dark, controlled, intentional — that made the viewer feel something before they'd processed a single spec. That's the only brief that matters.

Inter-personal Connection
On TikTok, on Reels, on every platform where attention is the currency — you have two seconds. Maybe less. In that window, something has to happen that makes a person's thumb stop moving. Not because the content told them to stop. Because something in them responded to it without thinking. That's not a design problem. It's a human problem. And solving it means understanding people before you understand products. What makes a DJI owner feel seen? What visual language speaks to someone who values precision and adventure in the same breath? What does that look like at 4am under a single light source with nothing but the product and a camera? Those are the questions I was sitting with before a single frame was captured.
The answers showed up in the work. In the way light hits a surface and suggests something without stating it. In the edit rhythm that feels like a heartbeat — not a countdown. In the composition that puts the product exactly where the eye wants to go before the eye knows it's looking.
